Our programs allow you the opportunity to learn the trade of grooming in a step by step process. We are partnered with @paragonschoolofgrooming. This virtual learning program will get your formal education started. This program works in tandem with your Grooming Instructor at Wag n Tails, as you obtain your much needed hands-on experience at our Studio in Shelby Township.
How long does the program take?
Dog grooming is a trade. Learning the skills to become a dog groomer takes approximately 4 weeks to be a pro bather, until we get your hands-on experience to be an official dog groomer. That process typically takes an additional 4 months. Having the opportunity to learn “as you go” with us can make all the difference when it comes to either switching careers or starting in the workforce for the first time.
