5 Favorite Kong Smoothie Recipes

dog smoothie recipes

Prevent unwanted behaviors from being learned by keeping your dog occupied when you’re consistently providing healthy food and chewing options. If you can spare just TEN minutes to whip up any one of these delicious kong filler recipes for your dog, it’s worth the bond and behavior trade of the time it takes to have these ready when needed.

Blend all these ingredients together in a blender and you’ve got your dog (and YOU!) a delicious and healthy smoothie. Use the leftovers as a kong filler by eliminating any water ingredients.

Pour any of these ingredients into a cookie mold or ice cube trays, put them in the freezer and pop them out as delicious frozen treats if you’d like for added fun! I’m definitely Katey’s favorite when I give her any of these special treats, but my husband usually beats me to it. I make sure to have plenty of these for him to grab when I’m on the road for lessons all day.
