Trainer

I joined Wag n Tails Studio in December 2015 and have developed a specialty in understanding canine body language. I find immense joy in my role as a professional dog trainer, as I am constantly learning from the diverse array of dogs and personalities I encounter. My own dog, Leroy, presents unique challenges; he was difficult to house train until he was five months old. Additionally, I work diligently to prevent him from adopting negative behaviors from our older Boxer, Harley. Despite his attempts to be a tough guard dog, Leroy often surprises me with his amusing fears, including being startled by his own farts, haha!

This experience has greatly enriched my life, enhancing my patience, understanding, communication, and dedication. As a pet parent, I have faced challenges, particularly with my Black Lab mix, Riker, who struggled with a fear of fireworks. My English Cream Golden Retriever, Sir Legolus, and I share a close bond, and he has earned multiple obedience and trick titles from the AKC.
