SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. — As more movies are produced in Michigan, Wag ‘N’ Tails of Shelby Township is training local dogs to star in movies. They’ll even act as a talent agency and place dogs in local productions.

“The producers are looking for all types of dogs for various roles. I don’t know if people truly realize we are in this industry,” said Christine Fox, owner of Wag ‘N’ Tails.

The first step to making your dog a star is having a professional portfolio made just like actors and models.

And then there’s acting classes. That’s where Wag ‘N’ Tails can help out. The center is located at 56776 Mound Road in Shelby Township. The phone number is 586-781-6400.
