Legally Blonde: The Musical

“Ohmigod, you guys!”

Wag ‘N’ Tails is proud to announce our partnership with the Eisenhower High School Performing Arts Department in the production of their 2012 spring show, Legally Blonde: The Musical!

Our two canine actors are working closely with trainers Christine Fox, Patti DeBono, and Laura Byrd. Both dogs will need to be comfortable on stage and to perform well in their character roles!

Bruiser Woods…. played by Hollywood Fox

Hollywood Fox, a five year old Maltese, will be playing Bruiser Woods. Elle Woods, the main character, takes her dog Bruiser everywhere so you will see quite a bit of Hollywood! She is being both trained and handled by her mom, Wag ‘N’ Tails owner Christine Fox. Hollywood is no stranger to performing in the public eye… she travels everywhere with her mom just like Bruiser! Her sassy personality makes Hollywood a natural performer… and having a mom that’s a dog trainer doesn’t hurt either!

Rufus Bonafonte… played by Reggie Ericson

Reggie Ericson, a two year old mastiff American bulldog mix, is playing Rufus. In the musical, Rufus is owned by Paulette, Elle’s nail technician and friend. Reggie is 105 pounds, so everything he does is big… along with his stage prescence! Reggie is owned by Butch and Sue Ericson, clients and friends of Wag ‘N’ Tails. Reggie has been working closely on obdience training for the last year with instructor Marie Flanigan, so we knew he was perfect for the part! He is trained and handled for this production by Patti DeBono and Laura Byrd.
